About Us

A Supportive Environment
At Dewhurst Equestrian Club, we are dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for adult riders at all levels and stages of their riding journeys.
We cater for riders from Level 5 to Advanced, across all HRCAV disciplines but with a special interest in Dressage, 3PE and competing together at HRCAV events.
We also have an annual weekend retreat, with great accommodation, trail riding opportunities, delicious food and great company!
Who we are
A HRCAV Club with a difference

At Dewhurst Equestrian Club, we aim to create a safe and fun environment for the adult rider. With no working bees, no catering lunches and no drama, we cater to the busy rider who just wants to come and spend time with their horse and like minded friends.
Our mission is to offer exceptional coaches, create a sense of community among our members, facilitate memorable experiences and events, and above all, enjoy our beautiful horses!
What We Offer

Monthly Rallies & Regular Social Events
Join us for monthly rallies, engaging social events, and group trail rides. Our club provides a platform for riders to connect, learn and achieve their riding goals, whatever they are!
Competition Support & Teams
Participate in protocol days, support each other at shows, and form competition teams for Top Teams Trophy events. Your competition journey doesn't have to be lonely, enjoy the thrill of equestrian sports in a supportive community.
Club “Protocol Days” are to allow members to familiarise themselves with the process of competition – entries, times, bridle numbers, protocols, correct attire etc. DEC may run Protocol Days with HRCAV judges. Watch the Facebook page for details of when the protocol day is scheduled.
Fees
DEC membership year is from 1 November to 31 October. To become a full financial member for the year, club fees are to be paid by 1 November. Pro-rated fees apply from 1 August. If you are interested in joining, please contact the club or fill out the online form. An application does not guarantee membership; we will contact you to discuss your application.
Uniforms
Dewhurst Equestrian Club colours are burgundy, charcoal grey and black trim. White may be used on logos. We encourage members to wear their club uniform to rallies and events.
Polo shirts:
Club polo is to be in burgundy or dark grey, with logo applied to the left side. These can be worn for all competition disciplines except showing. Polo shirts can be ordered from our supplier All Make Workwear in Beaconsfield, or sourced online and logo applied to your own brand new item by All Make Workwear.
Vests:
Vests can be made to order by Evelyn Park Accessories. Please see their website for measurements. Vest colours can be any combination of burgundy, charcoal grey and black. You can have the club logo applied to your vest by All Make Workwear.
Breeches and Tights
Our uniform allows for black or charcoal grey jodhpurs or breeches to be worn. White breeches may be worn for competition if preferred. Beige jodhpurs are to be used when showing.
